Another day, another life saved. Or lives, as it were. Victor sighed contentedly to himself, shuffling along the street towards Granny's diner. The sun was setting and it was starting to get very dark, but that was alright in his mind. Actually, he really liked the night. When the colors around him muted and became hard to distinguish, it reminded him of his former home. Now that he had his memories of his former self, it would probably take a little while before he was fully used to the bright, colorful world he had been a part of for so long.
Funny, he should have already been used to it, considering how long he had been stuck in Storybrooke, but the moment he got his memories of his old life back, it was like being there for the first day. It was extremely jarring.
Thankfully, though, he didn't mind things as much as he once had. He didn't hate the color, and while remembering all his failures of the past was depressing as hell, thanks to a talk with a werewolf he wasn't going to let it crush him. He would find some way to make his name stand for life, and not be associated with a monster.
Even if it meant extra long shifts at the Storybrooke hospital.
He slipped inside the diner, happy to get a bite to eat now that another long day was behind him. He offered a couple pretty ladies at the counter a smile and a wink, but they quickly turned away from him, giggling as they went. Well, he supposed he couldn't always be the amazing charmer. Inhaling sharply, he went over to one of the available seats, planting himself down before motioning for Granny.
"Hamburger, please! Extra pickles!"
